If you’re wondering about borrowing books, movies, and audiobooks from the NCC, there are a few basic guidelines. First of all, you need to be an NCC patron. Patron cards are free to Newport, Etna, Palmyra, and Plymouth residents, and cost $25 per year per family for people who do not live in these towns. Students who are enrolled in the RSU #19 district can obtain a student card for free. Non-resident senior citizens (62 and older) can obtain a library card for the reduced price of $15. To get a patron (library) card, you need to bring in a valid, current photo identification card (usually a driver’s license). Anyone who is 18 or older can get a card the same day, and begin using the facility and signing out materials. (Books may be signed out for two weeks, audiobooks and DVDs for one week.)
You do not need to be a patron to use our computers, our wireless internet, or to simply stop in and read.
